Matthew Quick is an Award winning Australian Artist. A narrative conceptual realist, his paintings and sculptures provoke and tell stories. Matthew has been named in Business Review Weekly as one of Australia’s top 50 artists.

This exhibition examines how value is assigned, exchanged and continually reassessed. Taking Maurizio Cattelan's Comedian as its point of departure, the works extend the proposition that context alone can transform the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Through interventions into canonical artworks, the recasting of everyday objects in porcelain and bronze, and the re-evaluation of historical narratives, the series traces the shifting relationship between art, history and belief.
